whys everyone never online nowadays?

maybe cos i've been coming on for about five min each time :/ ... well nobody talking to me what!

anyway i realised smth contradictory in the fifth book of harry potter, how come the ministry of magic has LIFTS when lifts are powered by electricity (arent they?) and when electricity is supposed to be a 'substitute for magic' and smth only muggles use? :/
